Needs some quince and thyme.
My first reaction is No! But the more I think about it maybe quince jam or smoked/pickled quince could work?
It would be an earthy pear/apple flavor with a stronger finish that would be softened by the basil. I’m willing to bet an LGBTQ sausage would actually be good.
