theskyisfalling@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 week agoIf it is the single player and story that interests you then just stick to GTA 4. In my opinion the story in 5 is boring as fuck and very quickly falls into a loop that is just mind numbingly dull.

GTA 4 looks more like a traditional movie and is a bit more serious than the goofy GTA 5. But I also like the goofiness and over-the-topness of it. It’s a different style, wouldn’t say its better or worse. And they also tried to appeal to the mass even more with 5, partially the 3 characters is evidence of it. But I have to say, I care more about the characters in GTA 4 than in 5.
