Allegedly it’s because Rockstar doesn’t want leaks, which strikes me as a very stupid reason. So fucking what if gameplay is released a week early?

They’ll try to gaslight you abiut how the game is too big to fit kn disc’s, but the real reason is to prevent aftermarket sales. I’m sure they see every used game sale as lost revenue.
