I love waterbeds.

I’d have one right now if they didn’t weigh a ton and bow floors and also get holes in them easy and also have to be heated or you can get hyperthermia.

I mean. Common. Sleeping on water. It’s like falling asleep on a float trip but not ending up 5 miles down the river with 2nd degree sunburn.

I briefly had a hybrid waterbed that someone just gave me for free. I met this person at a gas station.

But it didn’t have a heater and I had to replace some of the tubes which were hard to find and not cheap. And also a pain to deal with. But maybe one day I’ll have one again.

I still think a hybrid design could work. Needs tweaked. Plus I like being cold when I sleep. Just not as cold as sleeping on a non heated waterbed in the winter cause that’s rough.

Man I miss waterbeds.

I feel privileged to be an 80s kid so I had the chance to experience them.
