  Explain how they are supposed to take their car home without driving it. Because if they leave it there it would probably get towed

    That very much depends on the neighborhood!

    • suburbs: anecdotally I’ve been fine, they don’t care as long as you come back in the morning
    • city: take the bus to the bar

    You’ll pretty much never get your car towed from outside a bar, they know damn well why that’s a bad idea.
