Who would pay anyone for anything in such a world? it is a post-scarcity economy, nobody can do anything of economic value because the ai can do it better in every way, then everyone gets resources rationed to them and they can live their life however they wish.

Aww, that’s kind of sweet that you actually think the billionaires who run the world would let everyone just have an easy happy life…
When there’s no need for people to exploit for labor anymore theyll have a good hearty laugh watching us all starve to death before they’ll let anyone just have something for free even if there’s no longer any real need for money.
The people who are heavily invested in AI advancement have no interest in saving the world, their only interest is in power, and the warm fuzzy feeling they get knowing that they’re the best.

That’s true but ultimately doesn’t matter, 30% of a country revolting is typically enough for a revolution. Even if they try this, which, there isn’t much incentive for them because they can have whatever they want, people will rapidly revolt.
