It needs to escalate until it lands with someone who isn’t from LDS.
I’m kinda worried that this whole state’s legal system is LDS all the way to the top.

I lived on the border of Utah and I can confirm it was extremely bad. One of the restaurants wanted to serve wine and they went before the city council to plead their case and the amount of backlash they got was insane.
Every official, policeman, lawyer, judge, etc are all Mormons. When CPS shows up to investigate you can see their Mormon underwear peeking through their clothes. If you guessed that non-Mormons were way more likely to get their kids removed you would be right.
It is very corrupt and very unwelcoming to non-members. For instance, my children were not allowed to play with the Mormon children.
