If drives do not have enough space to operate the data freely, that will cause the drive to fail quicker. And deleting a game would make sure you have plenty of space left for the operating system and drive to operate in a safe and optimal way. This will ensure the performance stays good and that the drive does not wear down as quickly. That’s why it’s a problem.

Calm down, I’m not trying to hurt you or being toxic in any way. I just tried to help you not to shoot in your foot. And yes, I have no idea what you are actually doing, that’s why was giving the advice. If that information was in the post, then I would know its alright.
Now imagine you would not know that and would not have reserved additional space. How do I know this? If no one mentioned this (to help you mind you) then you might would lose your drive. Trust me, losing drives with data you want to keep on it is really bad, I have gone through this multiple times since I use computers. So don’t get mad at people trying to help you and giving you advice. If you have that space, then everything is fine.

Play space. Not space left. These save space comments are annoying when that is not what this thread is about.

Which still does not say how much space you would have left after filling that space out. As said, I rather give you the advice if its not very clear from the post, instead leaving your drive rotting and losing your data. Again. We are giving you advice so you don’t lose your drive and data, not trying to hurt you. I find your replies annoying too, yet decide to clear things up.

Not everybody knows you shouldn’t fill up your hard drive completely. If someone doesn’t explicitly mention it, its safer to assume they don’t know so that you don’t accidentally give them advice that harms their drive. And no, saying play space instead of space (especially when your title just says 20 gb left) does not count as explicitly mentioning it. You never mention having room to spare or even knowing the difference.
It’s clear now that you probably do, so all you needed to do was say “don’t worry I know” or even just ignore the advice entirely. I don’t know why you’re being annoyed by people for not having the info you failed to provide them.
