Alcohol is objectively worse than a lot of the illegal drugs, you should consider it hardcore.

Also there are not “tens of millions of hardcore drug addicts” in the US. Maybe if you count alcohol and weed, but thats not my definition of hardcore.

Youre right actually. And going by that OPs comment might actually be closer to truth, lots of people are alcoholics and with many you cant tell.
