Comment on New Halo Campaign Evolved Report Claims Heavy Outsourcing and Major Gameplay Changes
tal@lemmy.today 2 weeks agoI assume that it’s intended to be a nod to the original game’s full title, Halo: Combat Evolved. But “combat” is an uncountable/mass noun:
combat (countable and uncountable, plural combats)
But “campaign” is a countable noun:
en.wiktionary.org/wiki/campaign
campaign (plural campaigns)
So I guess it’s grammatically incorrect without an [article](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_(grammar) before “campaign”.
