he does ask questions most archeologists won’t
My six year old asks questions that most adults won’t. For the same reason.
Comment on Graham Hancock? Ounze Legussy.
kinther@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoI thought his netflix series was interesting. He obviously isn’t the guy with all the answers, but he does ask questions most archeologists won’t, which I appreciate. I do believe that there is a lot of unrecorded history that we may be overlooking.

He says he asks questions most archaeologists won’t, there is a difference. Graham Hancock has no problem lying, or omitting information to sell his books and TV shows. And who’s gonna stop him? It’s not actually illegal to lie about the past, just incredibly scummy.
interesting for sure. but with zero actual evidence for any of his claims

I would encourage you to look at why his arguments are considered ill-formed compared to conventional wisdom. If you want something funny to watch, Miniminuteman (who is an archeaologist) has a series reviewing Ancient apocalypse, for example, and I’m sure Professor Dave Explains has his own.

I’m almost positive Dave explains has done at least one on him. Milos series was great though
