  Not an American so idk at all the reality of the situation, but is there anything stopping somebody from just painting stuff like that?

  I’ve been told that if your gun has an orange tip then its safe because its just a prop or a toy, but like is there anything preventing someone from sticking an orange tip on a real gun?
