Comment on Should people report AI music channels on Youtube?

  The artist behind Obscurest Vinyl writes all his own lyrics, and at least for the time being, they’re choosing to bring their lyrics to life via AI. Though they have said that they’re an actual IRL musician as well and eventually plans to get more music equipment and something of a band together.

  I personally don’t see much of anything wrong with it, as long as they’re not trying to fool anyone or falsely represent the likeness of any particular real life artist, living or deceased.

  But hey, I get it, whatever floats your boat either way. If you don’t like AI content, nobody’s making you listen to or watch any of it.

    I get I don’t have to consume it, though I wish the consent for taking other people’s works to make it existed.
