I’d be furious if I knew of this after booking. Not knowing that there will be an animal before paying should be grounds for suing.

Rusty@lemmy.ca 1 week agoYou can book a room in Airbnb. I’ve never tried that, but I assume the host is still using the rest of the house. And dogs might want to sleep in their favorite room, not understanding the concept of Airbnb.

I don’t have data on that. I think it may be more expensive than a cheap motel, but that may not be the comparison someone is making when they choose.

It used to be this was the only type of accommodations they had listed on airbnb. Or at least the large majority.
