Car batteries are $$$$$. This is karma for me being happy that my service last week was not very expensive. Oh well, at least it’s an easy fix.

Wild they missed the battery being on the way out if it was just serviced. Lets hope it was just because it has been colder in the morning more recently

From my understanding of car batteries, which is not a lot, you should test them after a certain time (I think it’s 24 hrs) because if you’ve driven the car/van it will obviously be charged. I think (again?) if it’s under 12.3 (?) then you need to replace it. I really should listen more.

The battery guy did a test of the battery and said it passed. But it was apparently the original battery, which makes it 7 years old, so a new one was definitely due.

That’s a good run.

I don’t think the guy I took it too was big on the checking of potential issues like that, I think he just did the basic service items. Or he could just be uncommunicative, it’s hard to tell.
