neukenindekeuken@sh.itjust.works 2 weeks agoMost Bees are chill. Some, especially if they’re guarding their hive/nest, can be aggressive to anyone getting too close.
I’ve been stung half a dozen times just by minding my own business riding a bike, and a couple of bees thought I was attacking them by driving by.

Were you perhaps eating a banana? Apparently to some bees bananas give off smells that are quite similar to disstress or ‘defend/fight’ pheromones
