  I’m an American union worker. I have trained my body to need to shit at 6:15 AM, daily. My workday starts at 6.

    Same. When I get busy and hold it until lunch I feel like i betray every worker who had to break the owner’s windows in order to get a break at work

    Are you employed by the government directly or indirectly? Seems those are the only union jobs left. I’ve given up on finding one.

        I’m getting a little too old to pursue becoming an electrician. I have had a number of friends who were electricians and I know how much strength it takes. Thankfully my wife works for a school union so at least she has decent healthcare.

      trades usually have unions around where i live, plumbers, electricians etc. i work for a public school district, so government adjacent
