ivanafterall@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoHe was still trying to play by “the old rules” too much. But had be been president in the 90s or early 2000s, he would’ve done a lot of good.
I do understand how little I’m saying. I just do think he deserves a tiny bit of cred for some of his efforts, that’s all. But yeah, he was a wet sandwich.

I think that once he supported genocide, he lost the benefit of the doubt. And that was the most telling demonstration of who he always was and always intended to be.
