You just won’t accept that US military bases (which are being used TODAY to bomb sovereign nations) are a bigger threat to China than whatever patrolling China is doing around Taiwan
This is the official territorial claim of the Republic of China (Taiwan), they literally claim that mainland China belongs to them (together with the entirety of Mongolia and several chunks from other countries). Taiwan is literally TODAY carrying out military drills in coordination with the US
I am familiar with the history of the ROC, but let’s be real - Taiwan has existed as an independent nation for a long time now and those land claims are bogus.
Those military drills are also literally in Taiwan to help prepare for a chinese invasion of their land. What a weird thing to compare to what China is doing.
