Could it be that they use a back door, or drive in out of garage, so havenāt seen the food? Also not everyone checks their emails everyday, so possible they havenāt see your message either. I guess thatās the optimistic view. If not, maybe you can ask them if they still want to keep the cat. Tell them you can organise a rescue org to collect it for them. Itās sad, but some people just hope their cat will go away if they keep putting it outside.
Good news on the meds and grief counselling. You are taking steps to recover even though itās really hard. Melbcat would have wanted you to be well. Maybe you can look at it that sheās giving you strength from beyond the rainbow bridge. You got this.
