Committing suicide in jail is common. Not as common as guards who neglect the welfare of their prisoners, but still pretty common.
The Epstein conspiracy theory has people out here arguing that incompetent prison staff doing medical neglect is suspicious.

That’s on top of all but one of the cameras just happening to be out that night, and the last one just happening to have a nightly outage at the same time as Epstein died, and the prison staff not just neglecting him but literally falling asleep when he had already tried to kill himself and was on suicide watch.
Too many coincidences.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the prison guard that was supposed to be watching him was googling "latest on Epstein in jail" shortly before he was found dead. She was also receiving suspicious cash deposits to her bank account after his death. This was revealed in the latest Epstein file dump. Here's an article on it.
