I watched my Dad decline for years before the doctor would finally diagnose it as dementia. He had already forgotten the names, and even the faces, if everyone he knew before the doctor finally said he had some form of dementia. Duh!

They won’t believe he has dementia until he turns to Vance, or Rubio, or Hegseth, and says “Who are you?”
