I’ve decided to just take the bike on the train for April to save my legs. Takes about as long as riding on the bike the whole way, and seems to be about 9kms instead of the usual 15.
So glad I’m not paying for it, to only cover about a third of the trip and not be any faster

I used to ride Springvale to South Melbourne for work. I tried catching the train to Richmond, it was the same time either way.

That’s quite the distance. Is there at least decent cycling infrastructure to and from?

Nah, infrastructure was a bit shit. Three’s the djerring trail now but it’s shared, nicer than being hit by a car though.
