Yeah it fucking worse. My dad is wealthy and a boomer who had all handed to him, but believes his kids should pull them up by their bootstraps. He likes flaunting in your face too on how much money he got.

he probably sees it more as a type of twisted mercy which he was never shown. People are weird, motives don’t have to make sense to everyone for them to make sense to someone
