As per my original comment, Every accusation is a confession; therefore Americans can only do Boston and Texan accents.

GalacticGrapefruit@lemmy.world 16 hours agoAsking as an American, from my understanding, it’s supposed to be a lighthearted tease. No one’s serious or malicious about a Southern English accent on this side of the pond.
That said, having coached friends in the UK on American accents before for theater and voice acting and other things, I do have a legitimate question. Understand, I hope this is of no offense to you. But why is it the only two accents most Brits can do are Texan and Boston?
