Apparently the scene was reused in âTerminator Genisysâ, padded at the start with some new shots regarding the rockets. Saw that on Reddit yesterday, had to check if I somehow mandelaed as to what the original scene looked like.
Comment on At the park, and it's such a beautiful day! đ

Itâs shocking how good T2 actually is. Itâs almost perfect, really. I wonder how it holds up today. I bet it still holds up very well today, even without the dozens of parallels.

I just showed it to my kids this past weekend (you know, to celebrate Easter) and I kept pausing it to gush about the techniques and special effects.
Luckily, autism is hereditary.

Itâs just astoundingly well-made if one ponders the details. The semi truck looks unmistakably menacing straight from its appearance from the overpass. T1000 famously runs like a robot rather than a human.

Yeah, definitely. And this particular scene where Sarah is dreaming of the nuclear blast is forever seared into my memory. It starts off normal(ish) but it quickly becomes apparent that something is very, very wrong. Then, in an instant, just complete destruction⌠everywhere.
As a kid who grew up on the East Coast, on a major military base during the tail end of the Cold War, this scene really messed with me.

Thatâs T800. The T1000 might actually blink in the film â perhaps to better blend with humans. äš( á )ĺ
