Comment on Is there a medicine that has the same active ingredients as NyQuil without being so large?
BoxOfFeet@lemmy.world 2 weeks agoI used to struggle with insomnia. It’s no longer a struggle, ive given up. But one thing I used to do was BoxOfFeet’s Sleepytime Cocktail. Which was two Benadryl, 10mg of melatonin, and a double shot of tequila. And man, I’d be out late into the next day. One time until noon.

I had one I called a “slambien.” Ambien, lorazepam, and Benadryl. It sadly didn’t always work. But then there’s always seroquel if you never want to wake up again.

Lorazepam never did anything for me. But Duloxetine actually made me damn near narcoleptic. I fell asleep at my desk at work before. And, unfortunately, that’s not one to take as needed
