That’s not how it works…

In the course of all this, a lot of other shit came out that’s more than enough for him to lose his jobs over.
stappern@lemmy.one 1 year ago
well it is actually, you know innocent until proven guilty.
givesomefucks@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Legally
But not being proven guilty doesn’t mean someone was proven innocent, especially if a trial never happened.
Hell, OJ beat a trial, do you think that proved he didn’t kill his wife?
MrJameGumb@lemmy.world 1 year ago
Just because he was not proven guilty doesn’t mean everyone is legally required to just ignore all the very real evidence that was released of him being an actual internet predator/pedophile. Generally companies tend to shy away from being associated with that sort of thing.

i think they are gonna lose much more money buy ruining the show…
KairuByte@lemmy.world 1 year ago
And the world collectively accepts that fact.
MrJameGumb@lemmy.world 1 year ago
It’s entirely possible. However I am 100% certain the network would probably just cancel the show entirely before they let Justin Roiland back on the payroll.
He hasn’t contributed to the writing since like season w 2 or 3. I think it will probably be fine with a different voice actor
BraveSirZaphod@kbin.social 1 year ago
Why? He hasn't actually been a significant part of it for several years now.
some_guy@kbin.social 1 year ago
so you’re cool with anyone that hasn’t been convicted of a crime?
stappern@lemmy.one 1 year ago
yes?
AlwaysNowNeverNotMe@kbin.social 1 year ago

Sorry, man. I don’t know thing one but this crowd here, they KNOW things, they have LISTS of names, they got their own personal CONVICTION. Looks like Reddit has arrived. (I don’t have proof of that, but I saw a video about a guy who read a post and …)

In a court of law yes. A show casting is not a court of law. Its a court of public opinion.
