I doubt it. Last month I got a new office chair for the first time in years; chairs like that were in the $100-$300 range, depending on how much you fell for the marketing. I got a way nicer chair for $500. So if the company spent $1k each for those then they should be fired lol

On the one hand, that’s over $3000 in monitors for one cubicle.
On the other, “office furniture” and “IT equipment” can be two completely different budgets in different departments. So the numbers aren’t directly comparable when it comes to requisitions.
