Comment on As a Chinese American, if I wanna travel internationally, is it better to just say I'm American, or pretend to be a Chinese National (to hide from Anti-American sentinments)?

Depending on where you’re going, you could probably get away by saying you’re Korean or Japanese. Much better than American or Chinese.

So… I need to continue binge-watching more Anime to become more Japanese… Gotcha.

(I actually recognized a few phrases by watching Anime, ngl. some words are suspiciously similar to Chinese languages)
