There’s a manhole near me that periodically gets used, and the cover is always put back in a different wrong orientation. I’m sure they don’t to bug people.
I’d definitely do it to annoy people.
Like, it’s so fickle but it certainly boils people’s piss
It’s also a good way to show you’ve been working there at a glance.
