I think librewolf is the same deal with ad blocking it of the box on YouTube.
Firefox is my main right now on my phone and computers. No ads, everything works.

It blocks ads on YouTube by default and streaming services worked on it when they wouldn’t on Firefox(probably due to my addons). That’s all I’ve ever used it for and it’s good at that.

Use uBlock origin and sponsorblock for a perfect YouTube experience.

I’m aware but keeping updated to keep it working is a pain in the ass. The main issue being having to close all my tabs to restart the browser and keeping track of all the various shit I have open. Not worth the effort just for YouTube.
With using a second browser I can just update it and restart in 1 minute if there’s an issue. Side bonus of it clearing my cookies and it unfucks my algorithm for a while. Not saying I HAVE to use brave for this. Just it’s the one I landed on because there was nothing extra to manage.

Turn on automatic updates. It’s as frictionless as The Mighty Goog allow it to be and a hell of a lot better than putting up with ads.

I have automatic updates on. I still have to restart the browser to implement them which is a pain when I have like 50 tabs open. That’s why I use a separate browser for YouTube because it’s the only site I use that requires adblock updates so frequently.
