Wilco@lemmy.zip 11 hours agoNah. They can’t, they would get automatic lawsuits. Leaded gas is not only banned in the US, but globally. It has one exception right now and that is usage in piston engine aircraft. Even classic cars and classic tractors have to convert.

It happens all the time. If you make an engine that runs on leaded gas you will get fined. They are banned. Even classic cars must be converted. The only exception are old piston engine airplanes … and those get banned in 2030.
