Comment on me after anal bleaching
Turret3857@infosec.pub 10 hours agoYou did say
Kidding, of course.
but immediately followed it up with
If you want a white asshole, you can just express empathy for anyone not white, and one will appear 🤷🏻
which lead me to believe the joke part was unrelated to anal bleaching and the intended joke was Ha, aren’t white supremesists stupid and annoying? which, yeah they are. The topic of white supremacy in and of itself is completely unrelated and shoehorned into the conversation though.
Saying “Kidding”, making people think you aren’t being serious that bleaching your anus is a white supremacist behavior, and then saying “White Supremists will show up if youre empathetic to a non-white” subverts that expectation and re-enforces the idea that you believe anal bleaching is white supremacist behavior.
If the joke was supposed to be set up in a way where you did not actually believe anus bleaching was white supremacist behavior, it was structured poorly. The first part where you said
Justh white supremacy stuff 🤷🏻
wasn’t really even a joke. You weren’t set up to say that and subvert expectations within the context. I’m sure such a joke couldve worked here, but the way it was executed was doomed to fail. Kind of like white supremacists.

You got it backwards: I was joking about anal bleaching and serious about white supremacists being stupid and annoying, though my way of expressing the latter was intentionally flippant for levity 😁
That’s part of the joke: going off on a true but completely unrelated tangent that supposes the first part of the comment to be true. Just committing to/building on the bit.
Part of the humor was in the going back and forth between pretending that I think that the two things are related and making clear that I don’t.
I admit that it’s a bit complex as far as joke structure goes, but most of the other people reading seems to have either gotten it or just ignored it and moved on rather than lecture me on having fun wrong.

It didnt come off to me as not believing that anal bleaching =/= white supremacy.
The reason I responded was because I thought it was misinformation. The lecture was because I wanted to get the point across that it will confuse people, and I was personally worried some people may just blindly believe the answer without critical thought. Misinformation kills.
I do want you to have fun though. All people against white supremacists deserve to have fun.

You have made that (over-)abundantly clear by now.
