I donât give much credence to what his familyâs beliefs, he had moved out by then and itâs very possible his views had changed from theirs.
I donât know about trump specifically, but I do know the right doesnât like him, mostly because they think he was a leftist. Itâs weird that both sides claim he belong to the other and neither has anything but conjecture about it.

Raised as a Mormon in a red state and people want to say he was not conservative. People are really stupid I guess.

Theyâre whole subs dedicated to people that have left Mormonism. The views ones parents hold arenât strictly inescapable.
Whatâs the church of latter day Saints view on dating transfolk? Iâd attribute more importance to who he was dating then what his dad thought, no?

And no, I would not attribute his worldview to who he supposedly dated last.

I was raised Christian and am still on the churchâs equivalent of their rolls. I can also tell you I only have hate for the church. Your anecdote seems to imply no one can stop being Mormon?
Speculations donât equal truth just because it fits the narrative you are pinning for.
