I went to a steakhouse popular here in my area in California and they served my ribeye steak with fucking ranch all over it. I was appalled. I sent it back obviously but what the actual fuck? I learned when I moved here that they put ranch on almost everything, but fucking steak?? Ridiculous.
That sounds like either Barstow or Yreka. Those are the only 2 places in the state I can think of that would put ranch on a steak. Unless it’s the trendy looking shack on PCH just north of Malibu that has discovered flavors but has not discovered taste.
