mirshafie@europe.pub 4 hours agoIf most of your dates you’re looking at are within a 90 day span, DD.MM.YYYY gives you the important information first, and you can often omit the YYYY entirely.

Exactly. It’s also spoken in that order for that reason. At least in the languages I know. If I ask you for the date and you start with 2026, I’ll be a litte confused.
