LordPassionFruit@lemmy.ca 5 hours agoNo, it’s not true. Another has the actual formula, but the proof that it’s incorrect is that 32°F = 0°C, while (32-30)/2 = 1.

Not good enough for chemistry, but for daily use. But I’d rather convert it with a calculator and double check the conversion if it needs to be that precise, than to calculate it by hand
