Add it to the list of reasons I’m disgusted with my country, and disgusted with myself for ever being proud of it.
Yeah, I grew up in a military family, steeped in patriotism. I’m still patriotic toward Democratic America, but I despise MAGA America.
As a kid, I never would have thought about questioning the basic decency of America, but now I find myself seriously considering leaving.
