ZombiFrancis@sh.itjust.works 2 days agoIsn’t the whole thing with expats is that they explicitly keep their US citizenship? Most the self described expats I know are overseas military that married a local so my perspective may be skewed here.

Yes perhaps, but once my family has their UK citizenships sorted out, getting rid of our US citizenship is going to become a realistic option.
