mesamunefire@piefed.social 2 days agoYeah im trying out every other fedi platform. Seems like they either pull directly from youtube to get the thumbnail OR they just use the embed on youtube. Lemmy is the one (from what I can tell) that has an issue with this.

It has the proper thumbnail for me on Lemmy.
How long after it was posted did you see it? Sometimes it takes a few minutes after posting for an associated image, including thumbnails, to actually appear.
