Why would you even try to convince an illegitimate gonverment to do something?
Like if the confederates took over DC, do you send them a nice letter?
Its illegitimate, and people who sworn an oath to the constitution should really try to take back control and restore constitutional order. As in the way the Union dealt with the confederates. The Union held an election during the civil war, they simply just don’t count the electors from the rebel states, so we just do the same right now. Pro-constitution states should get together, hold federal elections in those states, and declare those elected officials to be the real United States government.
