  Instal the FDroid software shop.

  Search “Newpipe” or “Tubular”.

  Install one of the above.

  Remove the regular YT client from your phone.

  Done.

      I use AdGuard on iOS, but I expect uBlock to also work (for the web version of yt).

  Disable YouTube app + Firefox with ublock origin works pretty well
