The details of the case are generally unimportant because there seems to be a general consensus that the shot was not without reason. You can’t drive your car at a cop - it’s a deadly weapon. The cop does not have to put his life on the assumptions that you are NOT trying to run him over, actually, but just getting away.
We spent a couple weeks watching the dirtbag left gravedance on Charlie Kirk who was shot in the neck for the crime of his speech.
The principled, moderate left then explained to us that they could not feel bad about it because Kirk was a garbage human who advocated for policies that kill people…
Renee Good was a political activist who followed ICE around and attempted to block them in wherever she could. Members of the Minneapolis protest movement that moved with her would talk about hunting ICE officials down when all is said and done, and following to their homes to get information to dox them. She was maliciously interfering with their work, and then when she drives her vehicle at an ICE officer, the burden is on us to assume she means no harm to the officer…?
LOL, nah.
I also find it a bit ridiculous that an officer can claim they feared for their life if someone points a gun at them and use that as justification for lethal force but it’s apparently entirely unreasonable or unexpected for a regular person to fear for their life when a cop points a gun at them.
I saw an interesting post on X about this - a society where there is no agreement to trust the police, follow their orders, and believe in the ability of them and the courts to enforce the law and maintain good order is in steep decline.
I could get on a high horse and say, and you are encouraging that decline…! But why?
We’re in different tribes. That’s fine. I do not want violence or fighting. But I also am not going to pretend my tribe has violated your tribe by shooting someone resisting arrest who is driving a car at them.

Part of the issue is that the left has not had to deal with consequences for a long time. They were allowed to act like savages with little constraints. Trying to harm an officer will get you harmed in return. The officer was SRT and an instructor.
