Stevens-Johnson isn’t specific to nsaids, it’s been linked to lots of drugs, but more commonly certain antibiotic or anticonvulsant classes. Extremely rare though, around 5 cases in a million person-years.

mic_check_one_two@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 days agoMaybe they were thinking of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome? That’s when you take an NSAID and then your body rejects your skin and it all starts falling off. You go from perfectly healthy to spontaneously looking like a critical burn victim in about two days.
