Adventus Day 22

Today’s soap is Ole Fife by DentonMajik. I’m not familiar with the company; it looks like another one that burned bright for a while then they’re gone. This was a really good soap with a great scent. In u/cowzilla3’s write-up, he pointed to a lot of boasting about how they had the actual recipe for Old Spice from Shulton.

This was a very comfortable shave with a good post shave feel.

Other gifts in today’s satchel included a travel brush (Mühle black anodized aluminum with Silvertip Fibre®) and a travel-sized Zingari Man (Unsego) Unscented Aftershave Balm, both of which landed in my travel kit.

Don’t see much DentonMajik. He used to make a YSL Rive Gauche dupe called Mayberry Man and it was a great dupe, soap base was usable. I remember having Old Fife and the scent was great, but gave me some wicked frag burn.
