I just leave them on and play my own way, what I got I got, what I didn’t I don’t bother… The same way I do with modern archivements.

I don’t use retro achievements because games are supposed to be fun rather than about checking boxes.

I kinda agree with you. I don’t use retro achievements because I’m an obsessed completionist. That means that I’d keep playing one game well beyond the point it stopped being fun just to tick all those boxes.
