bcgm3@lemmy.world 4 days agoIf it’s not “baked in” to the video, then it seems like it should be trivial to detect and block the ad… Ugh, or else it’s literally new technological horrors beyond my comprehension, which is also very possible.

I doubt the latter, no one wants to do on the fly recoding video, it would absolutely eat up so much compute along with any semblance of a sustainable business model… Who am I kidding, the ai bubble is exactly this -.-
