There were so many ducks blocking the road to work moving very begrudgingly out of the way of my car that I felt like I was crossing a picket line.

In a row is definitely better than the single duck that likes to wait on the nature strip and then run out suddenly in front of the car. Ducks really shouldn’t play chicken.
