R36s is a Chinese handheld game console with loads of different emulators via linux. Just about the best bang for your buck if you want to run anything from old Amiga and dos games up to play station 1, PSP and Nintendo 64. depending on sales, you can get one for 20 to 40 bucks, but to make it run well, you got to be able to do nerd stuff, or have a nerd friend who will help. if you gonna buy one get from reputable distributor, clones are everywhere, the\ clones still work ok, but is preferable to have the mainline product.

Ah, I am currently looking for a Trimui Brick Hammer, though I may start with an Anbernic device and they are easier to come by for me…

if you have local wifi i definitely recommend getting a device that can natively connect to it. lack of wifi / bluetooth is the main shortcoming of the r36s to my way of thinking, but there have to be some reasons they are so cheap.
